Any help/suggestions greatly appreciated - Thank ~/SIP $ sudo python sip.py I've tried removing the SIP directories, rebooting, recloning, but same results. The error seems almost identical to "Socket Issue After forcing Exit Issue 112" posted by Tails86 on June 30. I am getting socket.error: No socket could be created after installing sip. Posted by: bgubrud - 2015 Aug 21, 01:49 AM - Forum: Installation and set up questions This is my plugin at work, the webacam is not working at the moment, as i needed it for other projects but i will eventually replace it. The sensor inside the box looks like this, the box was printed to protect it from water and sun This is the emitter side, and under this, in the black box there is a magentic sensor so that the raspberry knows when the door is opened or closed. This is how it finally looks when its all closed:Īs the door can be opend and closed remotly I installed this photosensor so that the door cant be closed while there is something in its path I retired my old timer, and in its place i screwed my new super-timer. The black-taped cable will be the 24V AC input and the white cable will hace the outputs to the valves, and the garage door.
Once all GPIOs were wired it was time to connect it to the valves.Ī fifth relay will be used to open and close the garage door, as my motor has an open/close input Some renders of the design, and how its spected to look like:Īfter 8 hours of printing, i had my piece: The relay board is slightly tilted so that its easier to connect the cables. To hold both components inside the box I designed and 3D printed a support. This is my Raspberry B+ and an 8 chanel rellay board My setup has to controll 4 zones, as extra i also controll the garage door. As this section is empty i will start showing my setup, i am open to any ideas to improve it. Hi, im from spain, i have got my installation working now for 2 months but i just discovered this forum. The software looks that the program-1 works but it not sends the command to pump can start, do you know why to start this program-1 I must to restart the service manually from console raspberry-pi with command "sudo service sip stop" and "sudo service sip start" All of them works fine least one, and to do it work I must stop the service and re-starting the service again. The second issue is rated with the programs execution. ~ curl -s -w '\nLookup time:\t%\n' -o /dev/null Lookup time: 0,005
First of one is related with response time of webservice, I have been checking the times of responses and is very high, you can see in the following command returns lookup, connect, pretransfer, starttransfer time in seconds and the total time that the full operation lasted: Posted by: takezo - 2015 Sep 04, 01:15 PM - Forum: Report a problem
Anyway, I've attached a patch file for those who are having this issue, and assume that someone will fix it in the source code. Without the "duration_adj = " part, the program would hang when it tries to use an undefined value for duration_adj on line 55. duration_adj = gv.sd / 100 * extra_adjustment Anyway, after a bit of effort, I discovered an error on line 54 of sip.py: It seemed to be related to the controllers that had a master. After upgrading from version 2.2.51 to 3.1.25, I found the program would hang and not start sprinklers. I have a number OSPi's at my ranch in Oregon (Hazelnut orchid). Posted by: gatomon - 2015 Sep 07, 05:39 AM - Forum: Report a problem How do I get the web interface to SIP to display non-utc time? So I added a TM to my profile and now when I type "date" at a command prompt time displays properly.īut OpenSprinkler is still displaying UTC time for logs and in the status My pi was set to UTC timezone by default. I set everything up fine on a raspberry pi, but then noticed time is displayed in UTC. Thanks for OpenSprinkler, too bad you do not have a "donate" page somewhere. I think could be very good idea visual monitor in home menu to know if the the next irrigation will be active or is canceled because there is a rain prevision or have rained before.
